Thunder Rolls

Day 28- A picture of something you're afraid of.

Mother nature is not very nice sometimes, yet people want to sit out on their porch while tornados are forming and some want to film tsunami's and hurricanes and stuff. You people are crazy. When any kind of thunderstorm rolls in, pride is the only thing keeping me from hiding under my bed. A lot of you don't get it. You say, "Katie, how can you be 24 years old and still scared of thunder?" Well most people are scared of spiders and insects and little things that crawl around the ground. And guess what, they're smaller than humans and are scared of us. Why do spiders and big bugs crawl away when they hear footsteps coming to squash them? A big thunderstorm aint scared of nobody. It'll come through your town and tear up everything, big or little, in a bout 5 minutes and you can't squash it with your flip-flop or run away from it. I don't really know where my hatred/fear of thunderstorms comes from. As far back as I can remember, I was crawling in the bed with my parents every time it stormed. So that's what I've always been and unfortunately always will be afraid of. "The Thunder Rolls" is a great song by Garth Brooks though.
