Tee Pain

Day 22- A picture of something you wish you were better at.
Golf. I have this weird love/hate relationship with the whole deal. I love the clothes. I hate how much I currently suck at it. I love that it's outside. I hate that I can never hit the ball straight. I'll go 17 holes never hitting a single ball in the right direction, but if on the 18th hole I get it right, then I claim to love the sport and want to go back for more. It's crazy like that, and I wish I were better at it. I started getting into golf in college when I took the class, and my brother really started to play while he was in college and we've played together a few times. I always bug him to play with me, but I think he gets frustrated when it takes me 12 strokes to get to the hole so I think he avoids the topic now. It's a goal that I have mostly every summer, to practice more and play consistently because my summer work schedule is always better and what a way to get a tan, right? Being recreational and spending the afternoon in the sun? There's something to be said about a sport like that. I've found it's a good stress reliever too, as you get to just whack the crap out of something over and over. So if you're ever looking for a good laugh, an outside activity, and a reason to dress in bright colors, then holler at me. We'll hit up the greens and have some emberassing fun.
Quote of the Day:
Erin: "I already told Erica and Laura, I want you to be in my wedding. So start saving for a bridesmaid dress."
Me: "I don't know, I think I'm gonna be busy that weekend."
Erin: "You're a big jerk."
Congrats friend! :)

Katie S, I totally know how you feel! I love golf until I actually start playing then I just get frustrated because my Dad makes it looks so easy! I get really mad when I don't even make contact with the ball. But then I'll hit some really awesome shots and love it again. haha Wish we lived closer we could play together.
