This is quite a loaded question but I think I have just the thing. I could've almost died once. I know that sounds dramatic. But the summer after my freshman year in college, I worked at Aeropostle at the Yellow Mall in Gaffney. It was actually an ok job. Lived in Gaffney, saved money, got a lot of hours, it was cool. But July 4th weekend, me and some co-workers were closing up the store and taking the money down to the deposit box. As we were locking up, a guy with a gun came up and started yelling at us and took the money and pointed the gun at our heads. He told us to get down on the ground and not move like they do in movies and I swear I didn't breathe for like 2 minutes. Having a gun pointed at your head and then going to the police station to identify some dude isn't something that happens every day ya know. So needless to say, I don't like guns very much. They kinda freak me out a lot and if I were to forget that whole moment, I would be ok. Truth is that gun could've been a water gun (I really wasn't concerned over what type it was). On the other hand, that guy could've decided to kill 3 people that day. God takes care of his peeps.
After that crazy story, don't be sad. Here's the quote of the day from Brooke as we sit on campus talking about marriage and how we're OK with being single...
Brooke: "I'm totally ok with it. Like, I don't want people in my house ok with it."
