I helped out at our Special Olympics junior bowling tournament today.
Dallas, a 2nd grader: "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
Me: "Well, I'm already grown up and I have a job that I really like, so I'm going to stick with that.
Dallas: "Cool. I want to be a vet."
A lot of people can't say that their current job is where they want to be when they wake up in the morning, much less a few years down the road. My boss told me today that if I stay with my job, I can retire when I'm 50. Awesomely enough, I think I can manage that because I love every single detail about my job. That IS cool.
